At Katy Bible Church, we believe that "church" is more than a place you go; it is a family of believers growing together in faith. Our ministries are the foundation of our growth and service together. But connections don't end there: In order to help encourage a more missional mindset, we make a conscious effort to limit the "programming" of the church in order to allow a more organic experience of community and provide time and opportunity to show biblical hospitality both within our own body, and to the greater community around us. Community Groups are a vital part of the body of KBC. They provide an intimate, small group setting to connect as brothers and sisters in Christ. Our goal with Community Groups is to encourage each other in four areas:

1. Relationships: We get to know one another at a deeper level.
2. Fellowship: We enjoy genuine friendships with each other.
3. Discipleship: We learn together through deeper discussion of God's Word.
4. Prayer: We lift each other up in times of need and rejoice together in times of joy.

Community Groups meet weekly (from September through May) at various days and times. 

Sunday School begins at 9:00am.

Adults

Exploring the Old Testament is absolutely vital for all Christians as it sets up all of scripture for better comprehension and understanding. The Old Testament grounds the doctrines we find throughout scripture, to help us better understand the essentials of our Christian faith. There are so many rich treasures found in this portion of scripture, because it has so much depth and breath and it really amplifies our relationship with God. It also helps us better understand the Messiah, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

The first goal for the class is explore and better understand the fundamental realities (genealogies, narratives, geography and doctrines) of the Old Testament, so we can get the most out of reading the entire 66 books of the Bible. The second goal is to see Jesus the Messiah more clearly from Genesis, all the way through Law and the prophets. To see GOD's redemptive plan for his people, ultimately up to his first advent as He works from creation to the cross. Class will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. each Sunday morning where we will worship Jesus through, prayer, reading the Word, and discussing the lesson by walking through the Old Testament.  

Youth (6th grade - 12th grade)

Our Sunday school for 6th-12th grade students seeks to engage the students as they study the Bible. Lessons are taught by people of varying age and experience with the commonality of Christ. During this essential time in a students life, we want to be sure to help build on a solid foundation. Students can expect a bite to eat, a time of study and discussion, and an opportunity to pray together. We hope to see these middle and high school students grow in their relationship with Christ!

Children (3 years old - 5th grade)

Our kids' Sunday school seek to evangelize and encourage spiritual growth in even the youngest among us. Classes discover that the whole Bible points to Jesus, as they see the gospel unfold from Genesis through Revelation. Classes are held Sunday mornings at 9:00 am in the Children's ministry wing. There are two classes offered: one for kids three years old through first grade, and another for second through fifth grade.

Nursery (2 years old and under)

Nursery is offered both in the 9:00 am Sunday School hour and during worship service from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. 

Kiddos under 2 years old welcome!

At KBC, it's important for us to take time to intentionally connect for fellowship and fun! On the second Sunday of each month we gather for a meal and just to spend time together. Our second Sunday Fellowship Lunches are also a great opportunity for visitors or those who are newer to KBC to get to know everyone better!

Join the men of Katy Bible Church for Lunch at Rudy's BBQ off Katy Freeway. Every third Monday of the month at 11am. 

There are events for ladies to participate in every month. Whether it be crafts, Bible studies, or acts of service, we invite the ladies of KBC. Please come be a part of sharing your life with your sisters in Christ as we grow in grace together. We will have fancy events, casual events, crafty events, and days of service. We hope to see you there!
